Content Slider extension for Magento provides a simple to configure widgets for sliding contents and place them on any CMS page or block. The widget displays content slider block on frontend. There are two types of widget provided by this extension:
- CMS Blocks Slider
- Product Slider
In CMS Block Slider widget, administrator can select CMS blocks to be added in sliding contents. Each selcted CMS block is displayed as one slide of slider. Any number of CMS blocks can be added to slider.
In Product Slider widget, administrator can select Products to be added in sliding content. Each selected product is displayed as one slide of slider. Each slide displays product name, image, short description and price. Clicking on a slide opens detail page of that product slide. Any number of products can be added to slider.
Both slider widgets also provides configuration fields for animation, effects and styles so it is very flexible to create sliders according to requirement.
